A significant enhancement to these services is the establishment of the Stock Yards Bank & Trust Student Success Center. This center, supported by a $50,000 partnership with Stock Yards Bank & Trust, aims to expand career services, implement software and facility upgrades, and support the Simmons College Leadership Institute Program. This initiative is designed to teach students the interpersonal skills and knowledge needed to engage in various leadership roles on campus, in the community, and in their future. 

Additionally, the college requires all undergraduates to complete an internship, providing valuable hands-on experience in their chosen fields. The Career Center hosts job fairs on campus, maintains a job bank, and offers individual job placement assistance, ensuring students have access to a variety of employment opportunities. ​
